We were originally hoping just to raise enough funds to cover the (expensive) costs of having the moulds made, but we are now joining our efforts directly with Osel Ling to have their statue cast in bronze.
We are still waiting for more accurate figures for all the costs but we estimate from the information we have so far that it will be around 50,000 euros for the bronze cast, including the costs of making the moulds. To make sure there is enough money to transport the statue, set it up on site and have it finished and filled with mantras we've estimated another 10,000 euros. Our total target to raise is 60,000 euros.
